Lamar Edwards

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Edwards, Vice President of  Finance, has 15 years of progressive managerial accounting experience with extensive knowledge of the government contracting and tax accounting domain. He is responsible for managing the financial operations of Plexus with responsibilities that include in-depth involvement in developing proposal pricing, DCAA interaction and coordination, budgeting at the corporate and group levels, financial reporting and analysis, cost reduction initiatives, cash management, and growth and profit forecasting. Since joining Plexus in 2000, Mr. Edwards has worked in various capacities to include Financial Analyst, Project Accountant, Controller, and Director of Finance. 

 

Education:

Mr. Edwards holds a B.A. degree in Accounting from Shippensburg University and is actively pursuing an M.B.A. degree and his CPA.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jeff Sgambato

Jeffrey Sgambato

Vice President and Program Manager 

Mr. Sgambato is Vice President and Program Manager for Plexus's performance based projects. He oversees the quality, technical approach, and financial performance of a number of large performance based projects currently under contract with the U.S. Army. Mr. Sgambato has more than 30 years of experience with private and Federal clients as a geologist, hydrogeologist, and project/program manager for a wide range of assessment, remediation, and compliance projects with complex technical and regulatory issues. He also has significant experience in the field of water-supply development and management, as well as water resources planning.

 

Education:

Mr. Sgambato holds a BA from Lehigh University and an MS from Penn State University. He is also a certified professional geologist and is registered/licensed in a number of states.

Bill Thomas
Vice President of Nuclear Solutions Division

Bill Thomas

Mr. Thomas is the Vice President of the Nuclear Solutions Division and has over 34 years of senior-level experience. He has experience in radiological and industrial hygiene activities with emphasis on systems to minimize personnel exposures to radioactive and hazardous materials, compliance with federal and state regulations, site and facility audits. Mr. Thomas has developed and implemented comprehensive programs for radiation and chemical protection programs. He is actively involved in all aspects of health and safety including regulatory compliance, site decommissioning, program evaluation, applied health physics, occupational safety, training and project management. Mr. Thomas is certified in the comprehensive practice of health physics by the American Board of Health Physics and was elected as a Fellow of the Health Physics Society in 2013. He is also certified by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene in the comprehensive practice of industrial hygiene. Before joining Plexus in 2015, Mr. Thomas served as the Vice President of Consulting Services for Integrated Environmental Management, Inc.

 

Education:

Mr. Thomas holds a B.S. degree in Health Physics from Oklahoma State University and a M.S. in Environmental Health from the University of Oklahoma.
