What is START?
Plexus Scientific’s Strategic Tracking And Reporting Tool (START) is a secure and configurable web-based platform that enables an organization to efficiently track, manage, visualize, and report any strategic and operational information that it would like to track. In use at the National Institutes of Health since 2004, the platform is growing in use daily where it serves as their enterprise-wide planning, data collection, and reporting platform to meet the needs of each of the institutes, centers, and offices while allowing the Office of the Director to coordinate activities and track progress. Some examples of applications that have been configured with the START platform are described below.
