Feb 17, 2012 2:00 PM MSTPlexus to Clear Munitions and Explosives of Concern Along Texas Pipeline

Plexus has been retained by ETC Texas Pipeline Ltd. to perform Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) clearance along an eight-mile stretch of pipeline from the Red River at the Texas-Oklahoma border through the former Camp Howze, Texas. Plexus will clear a 100-foot-wide path before the start of pipeline construction. Geophysical methods will be used to detect the location of MEC and all anomalies will be investigated. If MEC presenting explosive hazards are encountered, Plexus will neutralize and render safe these items. The duration of the project is very compressed to avoid delay to the start of pipeline construction.
