This operator/supervisor level course provides initial and job enhancement training to operators and supervisors performing duties at a maintenance direct support unit. The SAMS-E training includes, but is not limited to standard management policies, procedures, and methods; logistics readiness; work order processing; tasks management; man-hour accounting; bench stock management; requests for issue; reports management; data communications to higher and from lower; and ad hoc reporting. Prior to starting the course, participants are expected to have a clear understanding of the supply and maintenance management material obtained by participating in course OS-ULG.
