This management level course provides participants with a detailed overview of several web-enabled tools that allows visibility to the SARSS-1 data; special emphasis will be placed on tools such as JLWI, ILAP, and ITV. The adequate use of these tools and the management of the data, as well as the role of the item managers in expediting the flow of resources will be covered. The Logistics Visibility Tool course will also cover advanced analytical training to managers and users with combat service support duties by analyzing supply, maintenance, and financial data. Participants will learn how to configure queries; will review basic functions and features; conduct analyses using advanced Multiple Line Edit, filters; and Dynamic Query techniques. Prior to starting the course, participants are expected to have a clear understanding of supply and maintenance management terminology and doctrine, as well as a good understanding of the legacy logistics STAMIS.
